Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2018

Hi all.  Chuffed to say that I’ve just found out I had 2 photographs Commended, and had another two Shortlisted, at this year’s Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards. The standard is extremely high at these awards, so fair to say am pretty delighted.  My two Commended shots were “Traigh Eais, Barra, Sunrise” (above), and “Regent Bridge, Edinburgh, Dusk” (see my Facebook page). All the winning entries get published in a series of exhibitions across Scotland and in a nice big glossy book that gets launched next month. Very big congrats to the winner Allan Donald, who has taken a beautiful portfolio of shots across the Scottish Highlands, and also big congrats to all who’ve made the book. Nice.
